Scuderie Della Malaspina: in the beginning, a passion

The Scuderie Della Malaspina is a young sporting association, keenly desired by Adriana Foti Malaspina who, motivated by her great passion and deep love for horses, decided to establish a riding centre for all those who wish to practise horse riding, whether as a sport at the highest competitive levels or simply as an enjoyable lifestyle. Passion, therefore, but also significant investments, management strategies and the advice of a team with solid experience of this field has enabled the Scuderie Della Malaspina to become quickly known and established, even at an international level. It has achieved historic results for Italian horsemanship: bronze medal in the 2007 European Championships, 6th place in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and in May 2009, at Badminton (GB), the pinnacle of the 3-Day-Event calendar, our rider missed the podium by a whisker and was ranked an unforgettable fourth, taking his rightful place among the greats of this sport.

Love for horses above all else

It is not just about winning; love for horses is a great source of joy and emotional and personal growth: developing a respectful and responsible relationship with horses means learning to love all living creatures and involves a rewarding personal journey that can lead to overall psychophysical improvement. Achieving harmony as a pair means to have formed a great friendship: every rider who has developed this relationship, at whatever level, feels certain of living a unique and precious experience, and has established an intimate and indissoluble bond with his or her horse.

A top-class riding school

It is not necessary to aim at the Olympics; you can achieve excellent results, starting from any level, with a clear understanding of your goal and the training process required to reach it. Our instructors are expert riders and qualified dressage and show jumping trainers, and are available to provide technical assistance for both individual and group lessons.

The Rio Vallone Park

Our stables are located within a protected nature area of more over 1,100 hectares, with numerous paths and country roads linking old farmsteads. It is the ideal place for setting off with your horse to explore the natural beauty of the characteristic landscape of the upper Lombardy plains.
