Roberto Rotatori was the leading rider of our stables until the end of 2010.

Roberto Rotatori was born on 14 November, 1967, in Milan. He started riding horses when he was very young, at 10 years of age, with Silvano Galbiati, in Milan. He worked in Mark Todd’s stables in England, in 1996 and 1997, a period that he acknowledges as important for the development of his career. The rider’s dedication to eventing since the end of the 1990s has been rewarded by excellent qualifications, podiums and prizes, both nationally and internationally.

After a break from competition, but not from competitive preparation, with students entrusted to him as supervisor and technical director of important Italian riding clubs, he returned to competing in national and international events in 2006. He achieved excellent results and in less than two years had earned a place in the Italian team for the 2007 European Eventing Championship, in Pratoni del Vivaro, where they won the team bronze medal. This qualified them for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where they were the only Italian team to participate in any of the three equestrian events, finishing in sixth place as a team, with Roberto earning an individual ranking among the top 30 horse and rider pairs in the world.

Fourth place in the Badminton CCI**** established him as one of the greats in eventing.
